In 2015 the COMET Group and Bühler AG forged a strategic partnership to develop new ebeam-based applications. At its "Networking Days",
Bühler has now honored the COMET Group with the Innovation Partnership Award for its ebeam technology, which ensures food safety in dry food without thermal treatment.
Bühler AG is a global provider of industry solutions for food processing and for the production of advanced materials. Its solutions maximize food safety and energy efficiency.
At its Networking Days, Bühler recognized COMET's ebeam Technologies business for its versatile technology. The ebeam methodology is ideal for inactivating microorganisms, preserving food quality and extending the shelf life of foods. At the same time, the use of ebeam reduces operating costs and promotes the conservation of resources. This enables Bühler to create better products, services and solutions for its customers. The goal of the energetic collaboration between Bühler and the COMET Group is to develop a value-added process for food processing that helps feed the world's growing population healthily and sustainably.
