COMET Group and Bühler AG announce strategic partnership to develop new applications based on ebeam

The COMET Group and the Bühler technology group, based in Uzwil, Switzerland, will work together to develop new applications based on COMET’s compact ebeam technology.

Bühler, the Uzwil-based family-owned company, is a global, industrial solution provider for processing foods and for manufacturing advanced materials, contributing to food security and high energy efficiency.

 
COMET Group, the Flamatt based company, is a leading global provider of high-quality systems, components and services in x-ray, RF and ebeam technologies. The group developed the compact ebeam technology enabling manufacturers to create new materials, save energy, eliminate toxic chemicals while at the same time accelerating throughput.

 
Preliminary testing has been encouraging, in terms of technical results and proof of partnership. Accordingly, the two partners have decided to announce their collaboration aimed at exploiting ebeam technologies in the medium- and long-term.
