Lab One Hosts Symposium on NDT

On February 21st and 22nd, we hosted a two-day symposium on Non Destructive Testing technologies in our Lab One facility in Silicon Valley.  Around 50 people attended, representing various industries in the valley and elsewhere in California, as well as a number of our Comet colleagues.

The first day of the symposium focused on Additive Manufacturing, and the second on Aerospace applications.  Both days included presentations by industry experts on advanced topics in X-ray and CT, such as metrology, reverse engineering, and Automatic Defect Recognition.  During the afternoon hands-on sessions, the attendees were given the opportunity to analyze parts or components they brought in.

Each day also included an introduction to the other technologies featured in Lab One: RF Delivery Systems and ebeam. > More about our technologies

My visit to Lab One was very informative. This is a welcome resource for the high-tech area. I especially appreciated the CT resource capability
