Two strong brands
COMET and YXLON are well-established brands that have for decades enjoyed an outstanding reputation in their complementary segments of the market for X-ray-based non-destructive testing. While COMET primarily manufactures high-tech components and modules, YXLON offers complete system solutions, including also software and services. The principal markets for the X-ray products are non-destructive testing and inspection in the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries and the energy sector, as well as security at airports and borders. Vacuum capacitors are used in the production of conventional memory chips, flat panel displays and solar panels. They are also employed in radio transmitters for frequency stabilization. E-beam emitters are used for packaging sterilization.
